Family Doctor Identifies the Main Problem in America! Modern children are growing up in a very different world than their parents. Research shows that 69 percent of 11 and 12-year-olds have a cellphone bought by their parents, and 76 percent of young teens use social media. In his new book, “The Collapse of Parenting,” Dr. Leonard Sax argues that too many parents now let their kids run the show!

The Message from Dr. Sax is to raise your kids with clear expectations. Tell them often what is expected and let them know what the consequences will be. And then follow through. We expect you to do well in school – that is your job and it will set you up for the rest of your life. No, I wont be allowing you to live here rent-free when you graduate. No you cannot live in my basement at 30. We expect you to take care of your things – if you don’t, you will need to buy the replacement. We expect you to have respect for parents and teachers (that aren’t commie lunatics), and law enforcement. If you don’t, you’ll get a talking to, right there in front of people, and when you get home, you’re gonna wish you hadn’t acted like trash! We expect you to follow our rules – if you don’t, you’ll suffer the consequences and the punishment will hit you where it hurts.

  1. Yup, bad parenting has been going on for such a long time, that and the abuse of Child Protective Services (CPS) has done irreparable damage.
This all goes hand n hand with drug culture, TV generations, and non responsibility, non participation in the local governments, school boards etc.
TOO friggin busy so let others do OUR jobs and then we wonder how everything went to shit.
Oh I forgot, I am shitting on our people because we are all brainwashed by a bogeyman.

  2. Great video…my doating parents did all this BS parenting in the ’80’s and ’90’s…I’m sure it way worse now. The trophy generation, where everyone gets a trophy for participating.

In elementary school I remember the idiot educators went thought a fad of referring to us as “little adults” and trying to treat us this way described in the video. All this BS psychology makes it into pop culture and into our subconsciousness. We must reject it…it creates narcissistic monsters.
